ORDERS

When you place an order through Coastal Lane Boutique, you are making a binding offer to purchase the products and/or services selected. Please note that all orders are subject to acceptance and availability. Coastal Lane Boutique reserves the right, at our sole discretion, to accept or decline your order for any reason, including but not limited to product availability, errors in pricing or product information, suspected fraud, or violation of these Terms.

We require full payment and successful processing of your payment method before any order can be confirmed and shipped. Until payment is fully authorized and received, Coastal Lane Boutique reserves the right to cancel or delay the processing of your order.

Please review your order carefully before submitting it, as there are NO cancellations allowed once the order has been submitted. 

In the event that we are unable to accept your order, or if we must cancel or modify it for any reason, Coastal Lane Boutique will notify you promptly by the email address provided at the time of order placement. We may offer alternatives such as substituting products or issuing refunds where appropriate.

All purchases made through Coastal Lane Boutique are subject to our Refund and Return Policy, which governs returns, exchanges, and refunds. Please review our Return and Refund Policy carefully to understand your rights, eligibility criteria, and any applicable timelines.

You represent and warrant that all products purchased are for your personal, non-commercial use or for household purposes only. By placing an order with Coastal Lane Boutique, you agree to provide accurate, complete, and up-to-date billing, shipping, and contact information. You are responsible for any errors in information submitted and any resulting delays or delivery issues.

Your purchases are subject to return or exchange solely in accordance with our Return and Refund Policy.

International orders may be subject to customs inspections, which can cause delivery delays beyond our control. We are not responsible for this and will not accept disputes or chargebacks due to delays.

PRICES AND BILLING
Prices, discounts and promotions are subject to change without notice. The price charged for a product or service will be the price in effect at the time the order is placed and will be set out in your order confirmation email. Unless otherwise expressly stated, posted prices do not include taxes, shipping, handling, customs or import charges. 

For domestic and international orders, applicable duties, taxes, and currency conversion fees are calculated and collected at checkout. These amounts are displayed before purchase and must be paid in full at the time of order. Duties, taxes, and currency fees are non-refundable.

Prices posted in our online stores may be different from prices offered in physical stores or in online or other stores operated by third parties. We may offer, from time to time, promotions on the Services that may affect pricing and that are governed by terms and conditions separate from these Terms. If there is a conflict between the terms for a promotion and these Terms, the promotion terms will govern.
You agree to provide current, complete and accurate purchase, payment and account information for all purchases made at our stores. You agree to promptly update your account and other information, including your email address, credit card numbers and expiration dates, so that we can complete your transactions and contact you as needed.
 
You represent and warrant that (i) the credit card information you provide is true, correct, and complete, (ii) you are duly authorized to use such credit card for the purchase, (iii) charges incurred by you will be honored by your credit card company, and (iv) you will pay charges incurred by you at the posted prices, including shipping and handling charges and all applicable taxes, if any.

SHIPPING AND DELIVERY

By agreeing to our terms of service, you are also agreeing to our full shipping policy linked here. Below is a general overview.

At Coastal Lane Boutique, we strive to provide timely and reliable shipping to ensure your orders reach you as quickly as possible. However, all shipping and delivery times provided are estimates only and are not guaranteed. Various factors beyond our control — including, but not limited to, carrier delays, customs processing, weather disruptions, or unforeseen logistical issues — may affect delivery times.

Once your order leaves our warehouse and is handed over to the shipping carrier, the title and risk of loss for the products transfer to you. From that point onward, Coastal Lane Boutique is no longer responsible for lost, stolen, damaged, or missing packages. We strongly encourage customers to provide accurate and complete shipping addresses at checkout, as we cannot be held liable for shipments sent to incorrect or incomplete addresses.

If you believe your package has been lost or stolen, please contact the shipping carrier directly for claims and assistance. Coastal Lane Boutique may offer support during this process but cannot guarantee resolution.

International Shipping

• We currently ship to Canada, United Kingdom, France, Germany, Netherlands, Spain, and Mexico.

• International shipping costs are calculated at checkout based on destination, package size, and weight.

• All duties, import taxes, and currency conversions are calculated and collected at checkout through Shopify’s Managed Markets system. This means customers see the full cost of their order upfront.

• While this typically covers all customs fees, in rare cases local carriers or customs offices may assess additional charges or handling fees. These charges, if any, are the sole responsibility of the customer.

• Coastal Lane Boutique is not responsible for customs delays, additional import charges, or fees assessed after checkout.

• Duties, taxes, and shipping costs are non-refundable.

INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY

Our Services, including but not limited to all trademarks, brand names, text, images, graphics, product descriptions and reviews, videos, audio, and the overall design, selection, and arrangement of content, are the exclusive property of Coastal Lane Boutique, its affiliates, or licensors. These materials are protected by United States and international copyright, patent, trademark, and other intellectual property laws.

By using our Services, you are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to access and use the content solely for your personal, non-commercial use. By using our Services, you expressly consent to the exclusive jurisdiction and venue of the state and federal courts located within the Commonwealth of Virginia for the resolution of any disputes arising out of or relating to these Terms or your use of the Services.

You and Coastal Lane Boutique agree that any claim, legal action, or proceeding arising out of or related to the Services or these Terms must be filed exclusively in the state or federal courts located in Virginia, and you waive any objection to such venue based on forum non convene or any similar doctrine. This choice of venue is intended to protect Coastal Lane Boutique from the burden of litigating in multiple or distant jurisdictions and to provide a consistent, predictable legal framework.

If any portion of this Section 21 is found to be unenforceable or invalid, the remaining provisions will remain in full force and effect.
